Problem
Internal branding within the bank was always a confusion of ill considered designs, each team wanted to have their own 'brand' but there was never any consistency and certainly never enough thought or craft. There was a need to create a brand that represented the entirety of the Design team and the teams within it.

The guilds 
The Design team was made up of 9 different guilds or disciplines and each one needed their own identity whilst still sitting within the main brand. Each guild had a logo mark and own bespoke pattern that could be used in various ways.

QDR Events
A big part of the Design team's calendar were the Quarterly Design Reviews, which would bring everyone together. The branding continued to evolve through the various bits of collateral that needed to be designed for these events.
